Right-clicking on a folder in the Files Panel displays the option to add one or more files. The extensions of added files must be recognized by the Perforce QAC project, and these can be set in the Project Properties (refer to Setting the File Extensions for Your Sources). After files have been added, any project-wide Include Paths or Definitions need to be set as options to the component in the Project Properties’ Analysis tab (although they can also be set on a file-by-file basis using the summary table at the bottom of the Files Panel).
The Project Properties’ Sync Settings tab cannot be used for setting options for manually added files (this tab is only for use with Process Monitoring - refer to Observing a Build).
Selecting Add File(s) displays the Add files dialog box. You can use this to add single and multiple directories of files that match the File/Directory Pattern.
